Add Held

Description

Add Held lets you move a call on Hold to another line appearance, form a conference with a call on Hold, or add a call on Hold to an existing conference.

Conditions and Feature Interactions

• Add Held is only available on some phones; see Feature Availability below for more information.

• You cannot use Add Held to add a call to a conference that is on Hold.

• If you have Record-A-Call enabled, the Record-A-Call prompt takes precedence over the Add Held prompt. To use the Add Held feature, you must disable the Record-A-Call feature.

Operation

IP display telephones except 5010 IP Phone, 5207 IP Phone, 5212 IP Phone, 5215 IP Phone, 5215 IP Phone (Dual Mode), 5312 IP Phone, and 5560 IPT

To move a call on Hold to another line appearance:

1. Press the available line key.

2. Press Add Held or Addheld.

3. Press the flashing line key of the call on hold.

To add a call on Hold to an existing conversation or Conference:

1. Press Add Held or Addheld.

2. Press the flashing line key.

SpectraLink Wireless Phones

To move a call on Hold to another line appearance:

1. Press LINE then press the shortcut key of the available line appearance.

2. Press Addh.

3. Press LINE then press the shortcut key of the flashing line appearance.

To add a call on Hold to an existing conversation or Conference:

1. Press Addh.

2. Press LINE then press the shortcut key of the flashing line appearance.
